The light filled top floor penthouse nestled in a idealic street in Rose Bay. Ennen & Co was engaged by the owners to renew what was a washed out and dated apartment. The brief included a full cosmetic change to the main living areas of the house to lighten and unify the spaces to work coherently.
Ennen & Co’s selection of new furniture pieces, lighting as well as decorative items changes your focal point and leads you through the space. A balance of luxurious, warm and casual pieces were selected in harmony to co-ordinate and tie this open planned space together.
Ennen & Co has put together a beautiful palette of natural stone, timber, veneers, layered with soft leather, art silk rugs and durable upholstery fabrics. The split levels through the apartment allowed the designers to play with a base materials and finishes. Restoring the existing Blackbutt floors and introducing a beautiful Natural Quartzite stone through the kitchen to tie in with existing elements of the apartment.
Vaulted ceilings through the central section of the apartment gave heirachy and a play on scale to the different spaces within the apartment.
Ennen & Co introduced a smokey mirror full sized single panel beside the dining table to reflect the light and views at the rear of the living space.
The Casual Living area with panoramic views of Rose Bay and the Harbour Bridge has a more relaxed feel. With plush linen sofa, art silk rugs and custom designed coffee tables with hand selected Arabescato stone tops.

A tranquil master bedroom with custom bedhead joinery, in upholstered panels with timber veneer cantilevered bedside tables, the use of integrated bedside lights and a wash of up lighting to highlight the grass cloth wallpaper over gives this Master Suite a soft and glamorous feel.
